About Jolene Khor:
Jolene Khor is an award-winning composer, orchestrator, conductor, and pianist from Malaysia. Known for her whimsical, fantasy-driven style inspired by Studio Ghibli, she blends Japanese and Chinese aesthetics with Western orchestration to create a unique sound world.
She is currently composing for HighRollers DnD, Nomnivores Games, LalLionne Copslay, Hatched Games, TTRPG podcasts including The Writer’s Room 7th Sea, DistalsPlace, The Storyteller Squad, and an audiobook with Lemon Mouse Press. Her works range from orchestral and chamber to solo piano, with performances at venues including the Russian Embassy in London, the Royal College of Music, and Strings for Ukraine.
As a conductor, Jolene led the Queen Charlotte Orchestra in Netflix’s Covent Garden concert (2023), and as a pianist she regularly collaborates with international singers and performs at events such as Amplify Her. She is also a founding member of the Composers in a Jukebox podcast, featuring guests like Eric Whitacre, Christopher Tin, and Borislav Slavov.
Originally from Penang, she studied composition at Fu Jen Catholic University (Taiwan) and the Royal College of Music (London), with her music recorded at Air Edel, Angel Studios, and in Budapest.
About Mally Harpaz
Multi instrumentalist Mally Harpaz performs her original compositions joined by the phenomenal cellist Matt Constantine. She will be performing material from her debut album Zoom In Zoom Out as well as some new compositions. These distinct pieces were mainly written as part of a collaboration with award-winning video artist Clara Aparicio Yoldi. Mally’s reverence for the profound creates mysterious melodic lines and shares a luscious ambience with other contemporary pioneers.
