This session is aimed at women who are looking to gain confidence of using the OS maps app. It's a great tool for creating routes and navigating with them too. If you have the OS maps app, then please download it beforehand and bring this with you, so that we can do this together.

During the session we will:

* Understand the features avaiable to us on the OS maps app

* Familiarise ourselves with map features - What do we know already know? Which ones do we need to build our knowledge of?

* How to create a route using OS maps app using the tools available

* How to navigate with the OS maps app whilst on a walk

* How to orientate our electronic map

The session will start off at my studio where we can get to know each other and have some fun with map feature bingo and familiarising ourselves with the app. Together we will then plot a route, before heading out on some local footpaths and bridleways using our technology to help us. We will be walking for 60 mins max and we will be walking and stopping a lot throughout the session, so please don't worry about your fitness.
