The purpose of Women Who Can...

We are a registered charity that exists to help women in Leicester and Leicestershire become the most confident and resilient versions of themselves. We don’t judge a woman’s past. Instead, through our supportive community, we empower them to overcome challenges and take control of their current and future situations.

Have you ever faced a challenge in life and said, "Why didn't we learn this at school?" We find ourselves constantly asking the same question, which is why we want to teach vital skills to help women excel in all aspects of life. From Employability Skills and Knowing Your Rights at Work to Car maintenance and even self-defence, our goal is to teach women all the skills they need to help them achieve in life.
