Women Who Code  (WWCode) Belfast are very excited to welcome to you to our first Hackathon on 6th June at Ulster University, Belfast Campus from 8.00am to 9pm.

One of our main aims at WWCode is to bring women together and help showcase the wonderful opportunities tech has to offer to them.

What better way to do that than a Hackathon!

Our Hackathon is open to

- All women and/or transgender

- All experience levels,

- All roles within tech (Hackathons need UX, Testers, Coders, BAs, Students etc)

We want you to come together and create something fresh and innovative.

The theme? We've decided to leave that to you! The technology stack you use at the Hackathon is up to you - There is no limit. We will have industry experts on hand to help you on the day (plus we’ll be sharing lots of ways to get up to speed beforehand). 

On the day, we’ll kick off at 9am, when you and your (pre-organised team of up to 5) will brainstorm (we’ll have some on hand ideas incase any one needs them too) and delve into a fun day of app creation.

We’ll be providing breakfast, lunch and dinner.

 
Of course there will be amazing prizes too!

We can’t wait to get you all together to make something awesome, and help you create some new tech connections.
