About this event

Do you love to draw and create?

Maybe you find it hard to give yourself the time or space to do it?

Join us on the second Sunday of every month to realign and balance yourself through journalling and drawing. Please look below to find an agenda which will give an idea of the evenings flow. Each circle will focus on a different area of Art, I will demonstrate some different art techniques that could be applied in the creative element and a selection of art materials and paper will be available for you to use.

This space is an opportunity for you to connect deeply and empower yourself through art in any form, it isnt about the outcome but the process of surrendering and drawing and seeing what emerges. I also make cake with a bit of kitchen witchery and intention for us to share .

I spent many years as an Art Teacher in Secondary Schools and I miss the creative discussions that this space brings. I cant wait to merge my Art background with circle space and create something truly magical with you all.

I look forward to creating with you all

Sarah x

Please know this is an ART circle and not a DRUM circle. My drum circle spaces are every 4th tuesday and can also be found on eventbrite.

You can find me via insta, facebook, my website forestthoughts.co.uk or on eventbrite under Forest Thoughts.

Disclaimer

It is important to note that whilst we come together for authenticity and truth, some people may need more support than we can offer. This group is not a substitute for counselling, therapy or medical intervention of any kind. It is a complementary form of self guided reflection, self realization and healing. As a facilitator I am not a therapist and if, during our share, it seems that a participant may be triggered to share past trauma they may be asked to seek further support outside of our space for their sake and the sake of all of our women.

By participating in the event you assume all responsibility of any risk of injury or damage resulting from your participation.

Frequently asked questions

I am not very good at Art, can I still come?

Of course! This is about personal responses, but each week I will show you tips and techniques to help boost your skills and confidence

What will you provide?

Each month you will be welcomed to a beautiful altar space where you can relax and rest with: oracle cards to explore, a grounding meditation ( sometimes with sound), journal prompts, art materials, experienced art teacher input, herbal tea, treats and nibbles, a safe and supportive space.

What shall I bring?

Bring: a mug for your tea, a yoga mat, blanket if you'd like one and a journal. I will have some paper but committing to a using a journal will make your response more special and you can see your drawing responses over the year. I'd advise a plain paper - there will some available to buy.

Can I bring my child?

This event will be wonderful as a bonding space for you and your teen. Due to the nature of some women's shares around the circle I would advise age 16 and above. They must be accompanied by an adult as this is primarily an adult space. They would need a ticket.

Will there be Drumming?

This is an art circle space. No drums here! That circle is fourth tuesday of the month and can be found on eventbrite.
