Are you feeling isolated and lonely even if you live in London surrounded by loads of people? Are you stressed from work or anxious about your personal situation? Do you feel you never have time for yourself and so any self care? Are you craving more authentic and in person connection with other women?

Look no further!!! Come and join me for a whole afternoon of women's drum circle! We will gather in a safe and secure space to take a welcome pause in our busy lives, tune into ourself, express how we feel, and drum to shake that energy and bring back movement into our lives!

Drumming allow us to "switch off" the mind, and move from overthinking into feeling and letting the inner wisdom of our bodies to express itself.

Expect some gentle guided meditation, plenty of drumming, in group or by pairs, times to share how we are feeling, and a nice drumming relaxation (aka shamanic journey) at the end. Drumming is done in an intuitive manner. This is not a workshop to teach any musical technique! But rather an opportunity to try and experience first-hand the healing that the vibration of the sound does to your body and mind!

We will break for lunch in the middle of the session so please bring food to share. Healthy or home-cooked food preferred but please do what you can! Simple is best. There is no microwave onsite but pot to reheat food if needed. Cutlery and tableware is available.

To be comfy please bring a yoga mat, a blanket, cushions, lots of warm layers and warm socks as the weather can be really cold at this time of the year!

7 frame drums are available to borrow during the circle. No experience necessary! Please let me know if you are bringing your own drum (of any kind!).

Please note this is NOT therapy.

Frequently asked questions

I don't have a drum, can I join?

Of course! I have 7 drums which you can use during the circle.

I have never drummed before, is that an issue?

Absolutely not! Beginners are very welcome and we all drum in an intuitive manner!

Is the venue fully accessible?

Unfortunately there are a few stairs to reach the front door, and then the room is on the first floor (no lift), so the venue is not suitable if you have a wheelchair. Please contact me if you have any disability you want to discuss as I can work around your needs.

I am shy and never attended a women's circle before, do I need to share?

Sharing times are there to allow you to express yourself on how you feel here and now, to tune in and take a time to really feel it. You do not have to say anything and can use your time in silence. Everything is welcome and there are only invitations to do things. You do whatever feels right.
