This talk is being offered during the spiritual time of Navaratri, the 9 nights of the goddess. This is a Hindu festival which focuses on a different goddess or aspect of the female personality each night. We can use these different goddess archetypes as a lens through which we view ourselves.

Within their genetic make up women are said to embody a total of 8 Siddhi’s, special spiritual powers. We will look at what these powers are and how they relate to the life cycle as well as how they have contributed to women’s place in society today.

Exploring women’s health from an ayurvedic and Indian philosophical perspective. This multifaceted approach works with the 5 elements, these shift and change at various significant points in our lives.
