Join BASC and Gloucester Wildfowlers Conservation Association (GWCA) for an introduction to wildfowling day where you will learn all aspects of Wildfowling.
The day will consist of:
*Visit to WWT Slimbridge in the morning
Skilled members of the GWCA identification programme will talk you through the various species, look at ways to identify key species and guide you through the many species of birds we may encounter while out in the field.
*Pub for lunch
*Discussion on kit/law etc
Presentations equipment needed, quarry identification, law and legislation and the dangers and precautions to take while out on the marsh.
*Out for an evening duck flight.
Attendee’s will be accompanied by an experienced GWCA member. Cartridges provided.
*Evening meal and warm up
BASC members only and places are limited.
Cartridges will be provided but please ensure you bring suitable outdoor clothing, wellingtons essential, your current shotgun certificate, shotgun, ear and eye protection.
Cost: £85 per BASC member
Includes food and steel cartridges. Non certificate holders can be accommodated for by prior arrangement
