Due to the popularity of the first course in Febuary and March, Cycling UK is running another series of free women's learn then ride sessions in April in Edinburgh. The course is in partnership with female cycling group Belles on Bikes Edinburgh.

This course is for women who are looking to gain more skills and confidence on their bike and will be delivered in a safe, off-road environment at the Bangholm Outdoor Centre in Trinity, Edinburgh.

These sessions are free to attend, but we do ask that you attend all three in order to get the best out of the course and progress your skills and confidence. You have the choice of attending three morning or three afternoon sessions.

Free bike hire is available if required.

Session are delivered in the following 2 hour slots:

1. Basic Bike Skills and Cycle Safety Check

Sunday 2 April

10 am - 12pm / 2pm - 4pm

2. Road position and signals

Sunday 9 April

10 am - 12pm / 2pm - 4pm

3. Journey along local quiet streets and cycle paths

Sunday 23 April

10 am - 12pm / 2pm - 4pm

If you're looking to get back on the bike after a long break, this course is for you. Please note this course is not suitable for women who do not know how to cycle. Delivered by female cycle trainers.
