Description

Cycling UK is running a series of free women's learn then ride sessions in Dundee.

This course is for women who are looking to gain more skills and confidence on their bike and will be delivered in a safe, off-road environment at Dundee International Womens Centre, Dundee - utilising nearby Baxter Park.

These sessions are free to attend, but we do ask that you attend all three in order to get the best out of the course and progress your skills and confidence. You have the choice of attending three morning or three afternoon sessions.

Free bike hire is available if required.

Session are delivered in the following 2 hour slots:


1. Basic Bike Skills and Cycle Safety Check

Saturday 4th March

10 am - 12pm / 2pm - 4pm


2. Road position and signals

Saturday 18th March

10 am - 12pm / 2pm - 4pm


3. Journey along local quiet streets and cycle paths

Saturday 25th March

10 am - 12pm / 2pm - 4pm


If you are looking to get back on the bike after a long break or feel that your confidence and skills are lacking then this course is for you. The sessions are all delivered by female cycle trainers in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with the opportunity to ask questions and practice your skills.

Please note this course is not suitable for women who do not know how to cycle.
