Women’s Lives Leeds are launching a Women and Girls Forum during celebrations for International Women’s Day and will be holding its first meeting Wednesday 29 March 10.00am – 12.00noon at the Leeds Church Institute.
The Forum will provide opportunities for any woman, girl, independent or professional, or from any women centred group or organisation to contribute to strategic decision making and to influence and shape services for women and girls across the city.
It will be the “Women and Girls Hub” for Leeds, enabling engagement of the women’s sector, it will drive forward the priorities for Women and Girls as identified by women and girls and make an active contribution towards the vision for Leeds to be “The Best City”.
How you can get involved.....
Attend the first meeting on 29th March at the Leeds Church Institute, where we will get straight down to business - identify your top five priorities for women and girls in Leeds and shape the terms of reference for the Forum.
How and who can be members......
Membership is currently free and open to any woman or girl; either independent or representing the interests of women centred organisations, groups, services or community projects with an active interest in providing better services and opportunities for women and girls in Leeds.
