Women's Programme and Our Queer Future Workshop
Overview
Be Part of History: Our Queer Future Consultation
In 2025, LGBT Foundation proudly marked 50 years. As we conclude this milestone year, we invite you to help shape Our Queer Future!
Join us for a fun and interactive workshop, exploring what LGBTQ+ equality should look like in 2050! Together we’ll talk about what you want from the future of queer healthcare, neighbourhoods, and a world without inequalities. Your voice will form part of a visual map of Our Queer Future, published in Spring 2026.
You're also invited to share your views on our women's programming, as we look to develop our offering for this year and beyond!
This space is centred around lesbian, bi, queer and questioning women, including trans women, non-binary and gender fluid people, women of colour, older women and disabled women, to come together and celebrate. In order to enable this, there are a few ground rules to ensure that everyone feels as welcome and comfortable as possible at all times.
By booking on to this event we will assume that you have read our Safer Spaces Policy and are happy to adhere to it.
THIS IS AN EVENT FOR PEOPLE AGED 18+ ONLY.
The best way to create an inclusive future is to make sure all voices are heard. We would particularly love to hear from those who are multiply marginalised, including people of colour (PoC) and other racially minoritised communities, trans*, non-binary, younger (aged 30 and under) and/or older people (aged 50+), and disabled people.
Tickets for this event are very limited, so book early to avoid disappointment! Refreshments provided.
(Please don't book this event if you have alrady registered for another Our Queer Future event. While the fun, free activities change, the workshop will be the same so please allow others to take part too!)
LGBT Foundation's 50th Anniversary is proudly supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and sponsored by Barefoot Wine. Using money raised by National Lottery players, The National Lottery Heritage Fund supports projects that connect people and communities with the UK’s heritage. 50 Years of Queer Hope and Joy is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to celebrate and share stories of LGBTQ+ communities and activism in the North West and beyond, from 1975 to the present day.
