Women's Programme: Dance Out

Dance Out is a fun, beginner friendly, FREE dance class for all LGBT women and non-binary people who wish to access a woman-centred space. With a variety of dance styles taking place over the course of these twice monthly hour long sessions, this will be an amazing opportunity to try your hand (and feet!) at some dancing. Whether you’re at home on the dancefloor or only ever dance on your own in the kitchen, this is the class is for you. The point of Dance Out is to get moving, meet some new people, and most importantly, have fun!

In June and July's sessions, we will be learning Burlesque with Cece! Bump, Grind and make those hips wind with the sensational Cece Sinclair! Cece is known throughout the UK for blending her dance-based high energy burlesque performances with classic bump'n'grind.

In this 90 minute class Cece will get you nicely warmed up before showing you the art of classic burlesque poses, bump'n'grind, glove removal and how it all works - these burlesque dance staples can be incorporated into any routine! Learn to tease with ease! Suitable for all levels.

Please wear clothing that allows for a full range of movement. Bare feet or dance shoes or heels (only if you can comfortably and confidently move in them) Bring drinking water and prepare to get hot hot hot!!

Our spaces are for all self-identifying lesbian, bi, queer or questioning women, trans women, non-binary/genderfluid people wishing to access a women-centred space, and for those whose gender identity includes woman some or all of the time. Our spaces are inclusive of women of colour, older women, and disabled women.
