Event description
Virtual CPD for GCSE and A Level sociology teachers introducing our Unfinished Business: The Fight for Women's Rights exhibition.

About this event

British Library Learning is pleased to offer a fantastic free virtual CPD introducing GCSE and A Level sociology teachers to our exhibition Unfinished Business: the Fight for Women’s Rights and the Women's Rights webspace.

Our learning facilitators will showcase classroom-ready digital teaching resources and activity ideas which directly compliment the exhibition and webspace, with direct links to topics covered at GCSE and A Level.

From bodily autonomy and the right to education, to self-expression and protest, Unfinished Business explores how feminist activism in the UK has its roots in the complex history of women’s rights. With social and racial inequalities thrown into sharp relief by recent world events, this timely show invites you to join the debate and add your voice to the many fighting for a fairer world.
