Overview
Women’s Self Protection and Awareness 4 Week Course is an intensive, hands-on course that blends situational awareness, human physiology, and practical tactics for real-world self-defense. This course is designed for people who want realistic, usable skills they can apply under stress — whether avoiding danger, de-escalating, or defending themselves when necessary.
Who should attend
This course is open to all (age 14 plus) who want to build practical, stress-tested skills for personal safety.
No advanced training required — we teach usable techniques that scale with experience.

What to expect
- Dynamic mix of lecture, physiology drills, scenario training, and partner work.
- Emphasis on decision-making under stress, avoidance and de-escalation, then safe, effective defensive skills.
- Light excerise drills
- Instructors draw on real-world experience and emphasise safety and legal/ethical considerations.

We teach defensive options and legal/ethical considerations only. Training tools will be provided.
What we cover - schedule
Week one:
- 11.45— Registration
- 12.00 — Extended two hour talk on fundamentals of awareness: environmental, self, situational and weapon awareness—how to spot pre-incident indicators and reduce risk.
- Physiology of the adrenalised state: what happens to your brain and body under stress, how to control and channel adrenaline, and how to make clearer decisions during critical moments.
- 13.45 — Q&A and closing notes.
- 14.00 - Close
Week two to four:
- 11.45— Registration
- 12.00 until 1.30pm— Practical strategies, tactics and targeted techniques.

- Comfortable athletic clothing you can move in
