Tea is such a powerful medicine plant, but it’s so human and gentle, and it cares. Tea from ancient and wise tea trees has the ability to connect us to our hearts, take us on a very gentle journey and heal us. I am looking forward to drinking Tea with you all!
- Tibetan Sound Healing to end the Session
Set up your space or corner some where so that you are comfortable - have a candle lit or incense burning, your journal and any objects you want to have next to you to connect with whilst you share your love and intentions in the circle.
What is a Women's Soul Circle?
A circle is a space for self-reflection and rest, free of judgement. Gatherings are typically opened by one individual who encourages the group to connect as a sisterhood, and to share their wisdom and experiences. In addition to communing over food and (non-alcoholic) drinks, there are often calming rituals, like the burning of cleansing herbs, meditation, intention-setting, or sitting with an altar of meaningful objects.
What is a Tea Ceremony?
Tea was introduced to Japan in the 8th century from China and was drunk as a medicinal beverage mainly amongst priests and the upper class.
What to bring and have with you before the Workshop starts:
Your Favourite Cup and Tea blend - loose leaf tea would be great
Your favourite cushion to sit on comfortably during the workshop
Prepare to share a Poem, Quote, Book, Intention, Vision/Idea for 2021
I would love you to join me as a collective to share your thoughts, passions and intentions in the Soul Circle. And I am looking forward to drinking Tea with you all!
With Love Zahra
