Sobriety Rocks - Who Knew!

Ahead of her Ted Talk, and the Mindful Drinking festival, Janey Lee Grace will share her experience with living a toxin free, sober life and help you with your health, wellbeing and self-care needs with a mindful and realistic approach to Sobriety.

Some of us know that it is unrealistic to ditch booze completely and we may have thought about or even tried AA, but felt it wasn’t for you. So we have created an informative, approachable evening full of talks and Q & A’s to help you address your alcohol intake to give you a more mindful approach to drinking.

Janey Lee Grace will host the evening and then interview 2 two sober instagram influencers that have helped millions of people in their quest for a healthier lifestyle away from binge drinking. There will then be a Q & A where you can ask all you want in this very discreet and helpful workshop.

Janey Lee Grace is an Amazon No 1 Best-selling author, commentator, and co-presenter on the UK’s biggest radio show, BBC Radio 2’s Steve Wright in the Afternoon. She runs the popular recommendations blog www.imperfectlynatural.com

Janey has written five books on Holistic living including the number One Amazon best seller Imperfectly Natural Woman and currently writes columns for many magazines, and runs training workshops and consultations on Media Breakthrough for holistic businesses and solopreneurs. She hosts the annual Janey Loves Platinum Awards to recognise the best in natural and organic products

and services with categories for practitioners and wellbeing authors. After ditching the booze Janey has launched a podcast ‘Alcohol Free Life’ focusing on sober self-care. www.janeyleegrace.com

Her Guests on the panel –

Millie Gooch is a Writer, speaker and founder of Sober Girl Society. In February 2018, after years of partying too hard, subsequent hangovers and poor management of my mental health, I decided, at 26-years-old, to give up alcohol for good. When I realised that sobriety only made me happier, more fun and more sparkly, I founded @sobergirlsociety, an Instagram-based community that now has over 35K followers (including a few famous faces) who are all ditching alcohol for their own reasons.

Scot Pearson

At the age of 29, I don’t claim to know everything. But what I do know about, is living a life that’s alcohol-free, coupled with anxiety and depression.

The Boy Who Drank Too Much was created as a way of holding myself accountable on my journey of sobriety, but before long it became so much more. By documenting my journey on Instagram, the page soon became not just about me, but about helping others too. My journey is only just beginning, and I believe The Boy Who Drank Too Much can help so many people find peace in their decision to go alcohol-free.
