Event description

Description

As part of the Woodland Trust's Community Woodland Network programme sponsored by Nationwide, we are hosting a seminar on 11th November 2017 at Risley Moss.

The seminar will focus on the Wood Allotments project - communities getting involved in the sustainable management of woodlands, harvesting their own firewood and creating better woods - as well as having a great time doing it!

The event will bring together community groups who are working to look after local woodlands in various ways and for many reasons.

It will be an opportunity to hear from groups whoi are well established and some who have just started. They will share their stories and we hope that you will also get involved and help to shape Community Woodlands in and around The Mersey Forest and beyond.
