About this event

Featuring distinctive building styles and movements, the exhibition includes comments from the people who live in these houses and also identifies homes of the insects and wildlife that are not always visible with research supplied by the WALL campaign entomologist.

There is a specially created trail map for a self-guided walk around the village hunting for architectural clues, arts and craft activities and the Frank Jennings "Architect and Magpie" film will be shown at 11 am and 2pm daily.

Open on September 20&21 from 9.30-4pm; September 14-19 from 10.30-3pm in the Heritage Hut, supported by Walberswick Common Land Charity and in conjunction with Heritage Open Days 2025.

On Saturday 20th September join local artist Helen Riches and the Heritage team in a friendly drawing workshop where you’ll be given the opportunity to create a historic record of our lovely village green.

11am -12pm: Under 12s (Must be accompanied by an adult.)

2.00pm - 3pm 13+ and adults

The workshops and all materials are free, but booking is essential through Eventbrite.
