About this event

Woodland Bard ‘Lughnasadh Special.’

In this event we shall trace back the roots of the ancient festival of Lughnasadh and its meaning in relation to the Earth Goddess in her form as Tailtu, the Queen of the soil.

Come on a journey with us into the depths of the ancient countryside. Discover the magic of soil and crops and the old lore which calls us to take responsibility for our actions. We will explore the Firbolgs, an ancient race of people connected to the soil and plants as we enter into deep meditation on the Earth.

All are welcome for a delightful evening of story, prose, poetry, drumming and Earth meditation.

Discover your indigenous roots wherever you live and bring your local landscape into your heart once more.

Regular attendance will enable you to build up a worthwhile practice and connection to nature which will help you in your everyday life and enable a connection with a community of like-minded people.
