How do I get there by car? Is there parking?

The woods are close to the M40 and there is some parking onsite - please let us know in advance if you will be driving and we will do our best to accommodate you.

How do I get there by public transport?

There are direct trains to High Wycombe from London Marylebone every 30 minutes, which take just 23 minutes! The woods are just a 15 minute taxi from High Wycombe train station. We don't recommend catching the bus from the station; there is no safe pedestrian route from the bus stop to the woods.

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

You will be walking over uneven ground in the woods. Please wear closed shoes or boots with good socks for tucking in the ankles of beekeeping suits. You will be provided with full length beekeeping suits and gloves.

Do you cater for dietary restrictions?

Where possible. Please let us know as early as possible and we will try to cater for your needs.

Is there a toilet in the woods?

Yes :) Our wonderful wood owners have built a cute 'bothy' hut with a toilet for privacy and hand washing facilities. A little rustic, but no squatting behind a bush!
