Woodland Creation site visit - Woodleigh, South Devon
Event Information
Description
A talk and site visit near Woodleigh, north of Kingsbridge in South Devon, with Woodland Officer, James Mason, to discuss woodland creation with a focus on benefits for wildlife, especially bats. The event will start with a hot drink and a cake outdoors, before James shows you round a large woodland creation site planted around 12 years ago by the Woodland Trust. You will be able to discuss establishment, tree pests and diseases and find out more about all the grants available, including Countryside Stewardship.
Directions to the meeting place will be sent to all those booked in advance of the event. Please do not bring dogs to this event.
We hope you will understand that, in case of high demand, priority will be given to owners of land in a position to plant, rather than advisors and others.
