About this event
Join NHSN Senior Naturalist, James Common, for a walk around Gosforth Nature Reserve in search of ferns.
Species to tick off include:
Male-fern, Borrer's Male-fern, Golden-scaly Male-fern, Hart's-tongue, Hard Fern, Lady-fern, Narrow Buckler-fern, Lemon-scented Fern & Broad Buckler-fern.
This will be a relaxed, explorative walk. Please wear clothing suitable for the weather and sturdy footwear, and also perhaps optics/a hand lens.
