Event description

About this Event

Join us in the woods to rejuvenate yourself amongst the peaceful green canopy with like minded souls. We welcome into this beautiful woodland setting with nwildlife pond, handmade yurt, sculpture garden, cosy fire pit and outdoor kitchen to give you a tranquil space to unwind and destress. Daydream by the pond or gently swing in a hammock staring into the fire. Treat yourself to a day in our unique 'Green Clinic'.

Columbian artist and musician, Rafael Berrio, will help revive your mind, body and Spirit through the quiet observation and appreciation of nature and his stunning sculptures. His environmental artwork assists with finding calm moments in ourselves to restore and energise. Experience a number of self healing techniques in his unique Green Clinic.

As with our body and mind Mother Nature also needs reviving and restoration. Zimbabwaen permaculture farmer, Gary Redding, takes you on a tour of the regenerative land practices that he has put in place in the woodland over the last year. See for yourself the abundance of nature when you go with the Flo. Practices include improving hydrology through swale and pond building, tree tapping for sugar, planting medicinal herbs, and hugelkultur organic growing to name, but a few.

Last, but by no means least, we'll fill your belly with super healthy, plant-based food, cooked with love in our wonderful outdoor kitchen. Mastering cooking on an open fire is no mean feat, so sit back and enjoy your food around our lovely fire pit or in our candlelit yurt, while Beacon Hub Trustee, Atlanta Cook, shares her top tips on fire building and the art of outdoor tea making with a Kelly Kettle. Try nettle, sage and dandelion tea whilst learning of their healing properties.

Join us for this Woodland Flo Dayand take some time to relax under a glorious green canopy to help you unwind, destress and revive.
