About this event

As part of the 'Reuniting Sydenham Hill Wood and Dulwich Wood' project, join us on a free, beginner-friendly walk to explore the names and characteristics of trees, while also discussing the deep-rooted connection humans historically had with them. Before starting the walk you will have the chance to create your own ID guide using binding techniques. Led by previous Keeping it Wild Trainees, Edie and Aanchal!

Throughout various cultures and time periods, trees were seen as sacred beings, filled with stories and wisdom. Through observation, conversation and reflection we can re-establish this connection and rediscover the importance trees have in our everyday life.
