Woodland Walk and Refreshments
Event Information
About this event
Come and join us for a gentle walk, with a break stop for hot drinks, in the relaxed atmosphere of a woodland site. This is an opportunity to walk around one of the remaining sites of ancient woodlands whilst meeting like-minded people for a chat and a laugh. Experience the health benefits of spending time in nature, with the added benefit of a hot drink.
This is part of a series of free walks and events, funded by Involve Kent. These walks and events are for over 55s and under 55s with long term health conditions, at a range of locations. Participants will be asked to complete a short, confidential health questionnaire.
The meeting point is the gate on Hockers Lane at Horish Wood, where there is on-road parking. Nearest bus stop is in Detling village, 5-10 minutes’ walk.
Please wear suitable clothes and footwear to this walk as the path may be muddy. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.
