Improve your wellbeing through woodland activities and connecting with nature

About this event

Come and join us for a woodland wellbeing session to connect with nature and improve your wellbeing.

The woodland wellbeing course will be delivered by Valleys Steps and Coed Lleol and will feature some of the following activities:

Green woodwork - making spoons, wands, shrink pots,

Campfire cooking

Bushcraft - Firelighting, shelter building

Making charcoal and sketching

Nature Identification

Foraging

Mindfulness

Please note this event is for adults only.

This event will be held in our outdoor classroom and outdoor space located at the rear of Ferndale Hwb. There is a free car park near to the outdoor classroom and in Lime Street.

The Fern Partnership is a registered charity based in Rhondda Cynon Taff. The objective and ethos of the trust is to advance the education and opportunities for children, their families and the wider community. Our community Hub settings offer a range of engagement activities and support as well as employment support and work clubs, adult learning, training, IT Support and Library facilities. Are Hub settings based in the Rhondda are open to all ages and offer a range of services based on community need.
