ABOUT THE CLASS
Join Anna for a session in the use of the Drop Spindle. This session will take place at Ardgay Hall on Weds, 10th September from 6-7pm (Highland Wool's Knit & Natter is on from 7pm, please feel free to join if you wish).
This class is the 2nd out of 4 wool craft sessions in partnership with The Hirsel and Highland Wool CiC.
Ready to spin your own wool and unlock a centuries-old craft? Join our ONE HOUR Drop Spindle Workshop and transform raw fiber into beautiful, handmade wool in just 60 minutes.
Perfect for absolute beginners who've always been curious about spinning but felt intimidated.
No experience needed! We'll provide all materials, and you'll take home your first handspun wool and the confidence to continue your spinning journey.
You will need:
- your own Drop Spindle if you have one
If you don't have one of these, you can borrow one, just let us know via the Order Form. These will be available to purchase if desired.
This workshop is funded by The National Lottery Awards for All.
