ABOUT THE CLASS
Join Anna for a session in the use of a Spinning Wheel. This session will take place at Ardgay Hall on Weds, 8th October from 6-7pm (Highland Wool's Knit & Natter is on from 7pm, please feel free to join if you wish).
This class is the last of 4 wool craft sessions in partnership with The Hirsel and Highland Wool CiC.
This dynamic one-hour course is designed for intermediate beginners—crafters who already possess treadling skills and are eager to refine their technique.
Led by an expert spinner with years of experience, this course blends demonstration, hands-on practice, and personalised feedback. Small class sizes ensure you’ll receive individual attention to address your unique challenges.
Prerequisite: Basic treadling experience.
We'll provide all materials, and you'll take home your first handspun wool creation (provided by The Hirsel) and the confidence to continue your spinning journey.
You will need:
- Your own Spinning Wheel
- Basic treadling experience.
This workshop is partially funded by The National Lottery Awards for All.
