WMVC Chairman writes:The theme for this concert is ‘Rousing’ and the repertoire certainly includes some of our ‘biggest’ songs. This will also be an opportunity for our musician James Jarvis to introduce himself as a soloist with his debut piano recital . He assures us it will be a ’rousing’ performance. We are also featuring our multi talented yet very modest Musical Director, Scott Woolfenden, who will be giving us a couple of rousing trumpet pieces , plus, if we can persuade him, another one if his ‘special’ songs.

St Martin's WOW Appeal - Widening Our Welcome

Plans are progressing (awaiting permissions) on Phase 2 of our WOW projects, on the Church level. Phase 2 includes improving and enlarging the toilet facilities, building a much needed storage area, improving the church kitchen, and installing a servery at the west end. All of these projects will greatly improve facilities for concert-goers as well as the regular congregation and the many other visitors to St Martin’s.
