This course is strictly for Lonza employees only. Please ensure you have your manager's permission to attend.

This one day course aims to cover the following topics:-

  • Mail Merge, creating mail merge, the data source, the merge process, updating the data source file
  • Creating and Using Styles, applying the existing style, creating a new paragraph style
  • Table of Contents, creating a table of contents, updating table
  • Table of Indexes, to mark text for indexing, to generate an index
  • Table of Figures, Set captions for pictures, inserting a table of figures
  • Working with documents/Using bookmarks/adding a bookmark/going to a specific bookmark, cross references
  • Advanced Tables/soring data within a table/to sort a table/creating table header rows/using maths in tables
  • Forms/design/form fields/creating an on line form/creating text book form fields/drop down form fields
  • Macros/understanding macro concepts, recording, running and editing macros, saving and using Word 2010 Macro enabled document
  • Assigning a Macro Quick Access toolbar button/macro security
