About this event
Each month we cover a key topic for WordPress websites and finish with a Q and A - no question too small or too daft!
KEY TOPIC FOR APRIL
Page Builders
Gone are the days of frustrating mucking about organising images and text on your pages and posts.
Welcome Page Builders!
This session starts off with an overview of page-builders, what they should help you do, how to choose one, upload them and use them.
We start off with the WordPress page builder, Gutenberg, and move onto some of the premium, but affordable, builders.
Register to take part in the live event, ask questions, and get the recording and slides afterwards from the WordPress Academy.
______________________________________________________________
This is an online event with screen sharing and you can ask questions as we go along.
The webinar will be recorded so you can have a copy of it as well.
Please bring your own tea and coffee this time and of course some Jammy Dodgers and we look forward to connecting with you online.
This event is usually held in our offices and these are the venue details:
Arrival, Parking and Transport
We get started properly at 6 pm but you can turn up anytime from 5 pm and enjoy a hot drink until we’re ready to go.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are included.
Parking is free (but can be limited) and is to the rear of the hotel and you can access it by Gundolf Road. There is a walk up some steep steps to reach the hotel if you want to take the shortcut.
You must register your car registration number at the hotel reception.
If that is full there is paid parking in the streets around and opposite the hotel.
Disabled parking is available in the building next door to the hotel - The Dragon Hub.
If you are arriving by train, the hotel is a short walk from Chatham station and about 20-minutes walk from Rochester train station.
What Topics Won't Be Covered?
We won't be covering how to build a Website, beyond recommending developers or specialist website builders if you want to DIY.
If your site is having problems it will not be possible to do any repairs or work on specific issues for your website, hosting or software.
Disclaimer
All responsibility for your website is with you as the owner or manager. Any information we give you or discuss must be taken in the context that this is a group event and not a bespoke consultation or WordPress website repair where we would be carrying out an extensive investigation, back-ups and fail-safe procedures to deal with any conflicts, errors and downtime.
