It will be taken on Google Meet or Zoom. I'll give you practical demonstrations explaining things as we go and you will follow along.
Working with WordPress programmatically. As in, I will teach you how to write and execute working code for WordPress. I won't be teaching you about things like WordPress settings specifically, but you will learn most of what you need about the dashboard in the class anyways.
Any old laptop or desktop will do. WordPress isn't particularly heavy. You'll just have to install one or two things and you are set. I will show what and how to install during the introduction class.
You can get a job at one of the millions of places that work with WordPress, freelance, build your own custom sites, and sell your own plugins and themes. WordPress is great for someone looking to earn a significant side income. Not to mention there is high demand, but a low supply for WP developers
If you have a fairly strong grasp of PHP, things will go much more smoothly. A basic understanding of HTML and CSS is a must. At the very least, you should be able to look at a HTML document and understanding what it's saying or doing.
