Welcome to Words & Friends!
Join Edinburgh-based writer Naomi Head on Tuesday, June 10, from 6-8 pm for an evening of creative writing and making friends in Edinburgh at The Roastery, 7-9 George Square Lane.
If you're lost, please go to Uplands Roast on North Meadow Lane and ask for Ini or Naomi and we'll come find you or the staff can help you find us!
Writers of all levels and genres are welcome at this collaborative event by Orémi and The Good Egg Project.
Naomi will guide you through open-ended, multi-disciplinary writing exercises while you make friends. From short stories and poetry to creative non-fiction and copywriting , or everything in between, you'll find something to spark your creativity and connect you with others at Words & Friends. To keep these events accessible, we're offering pay-what-you-can tickets with a minimum suggested donation of £5.
Your donations will cover and contribute to the following:
£5 covers our space hire
£7.50 will cover the space hire and materials
£7.50+ is greatly appreciated as it will cover the space hire, materials, and additional profit will be invested in the planning of future Good Egg Project events.
If you're not in the position to pay, please message Naomi to let her know and we'll reserve you a space with no questions asked.
