Work Aid (December)
Work Aid, Shipley
This month’s session:
Christmas and the new year period is often seen as one of the most stressful times of the year, both inside and outside of work.
Therefore, we thought the festive season would be a good time to do a session on ‘Managing Stress’.
Session will cover:
How to spot the signs of stress
Coping mechanisms to combat stress in the work place
The session will begin with a free meal, followed by the presentation and discussion on topic outlined above. There will then be a peer support session, giving individuals the opportunity to discuss problems they may be experiencing either in work or when returning to work after a period of sick leave.
Meal: 5.30pm - 6pm
Presentation and discussion: 6pm - 7pm
Peer Support: 7pm - 7.30pm
If you feel you require one to one support there will be time at the end of the peer support to discuss this with one of the Support and Development Team.
