About this event
Be the first to access the new Work Experience Badge templates for schools, colleges, and employers in Leeds.
Work experience is a vital stepping stone for young people – but until now, recognition has been inconsistent. That changes this September with the launch of Work Experience Badges, co-created with the Leeds Learning Alliance and building on the global award-winning WorkSkills programme in Kingston. These free, ready-to-use templates give every school, college, and employer in Leeds a consistent way to recognise and celebrate work experience, opening up inclusive pathways into work.
Alongside this, we’ll also showcase Team Leeds Volunteering Badges, developed with Leeds City Council, the University of Leeds, and Voluntary Action Leeds, which celebrate the contributions of volunteers, staff, and community leaders.
Together, these pathways create a shared approach to recognising the skills and contributions that power Leeds.
