Overview:
Join us for a relaxed afternoon designed to help you feel confident about what to wear for work. Whether you’re starting a new job, changing careers, or simply want to refresh your work wardrobe, this interactive Women Who Can workshop will give you the tools and inspiration to find styles that work for you.
What to Expect:
- Guided Window Shopping: We’ll explore Highcross Shopping Centre together, visiting a selection of high street shops before ending the session in a pre-loved clothing store. You’ll be guided by a woman with years of experience in the fashion industry, who will share practical tips on choosing flattering cuts, colours, and styles that suit both your body shape and your workplace environment.
- Positive, Supportive Space: No judgement, no pressure to buy – just encouragement and practical advice in a safe, friendly group.
- Coffee & Conversation: After the session, we’ll head to a nearby café for a coffee and a chat (on us!) to reflect on what you’ve learned and swap styling ideas with other women.
Who’s It For?
Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, we’re able to offer this workshop for free for women in Leicester and Leicestershire, who meet the following criteria:
- Women aged 18-35
- Based in Leicester or Leicestershire
As with every Women Who Can workshop, this is more than just learning new skills - it’s about building confidence, meeting like-minded women, and creating a supportive space where we lift each other up.
