Work & MS: Telling my employer about MS & Managing fatigue Webinar (LWUK)

By MS Society Living Well Team

Overview

Join us for our webinar as we discuss telling your employer about your MS and managing invisible symptoms such as fatigue.

You may be worried about how your employer will react when you tell them about your MS. But research has found that people with MS who tell their employer are more likely to remain employed, and stay in work for longer, than those who don’t.

We’ll be hearing from people with MS who have told their employer about their condition. They’ll share ways they navigated the discussion and share tips for starting the conversation with your employer.,

Hidden symptoms like fatigue can affect you at work, and can be difficult to manage. We’ll be sharing tips to manage fatigue in the workplace and some adjustments that may help.

In this webinar we will cover:

  • Talking to my employer about MS
  • Tips for having the conversation
  • Telling my colleagues at my MS
  • Managing fatigue at work

Our webinars offer a safe, fact-based space that you can attend anonymously. These events are for anyone affected by MS; whether you are living with MS, a friend, family member, carer, or colleague of someone living with MS or a healthcare professional. Our webinars are recorded and we send a copy out to all those who register.
