Event description

Description

A career as an event coordinator is the fifth most stressful of 2016, according to job site CareerCast.

Let that sink in for a moment....being an event coordinator brings stress levels in the same ball park as fire fighters, pilots and soldiers.

Workplace mental health is a growing issue in society, and if we want to carry on attracting generations of employees, this subject needs to be addressed.

Employers have a legal duty to protect workers’, and there are signs and symptoms that can indicate when someone is having difficulty coping with the amount of stress they are experiencing...but do most know what they are, how to approach the subject or offer support?

Join our panel as they discuss, what can be done to reduce the high levels of stress in our industry, and most importantly how to recognise and support employee well-being.
