This four hour course is specifically designed to assist managers in understanding Work Related Road Risk (including the CLOCS requirements) and how to implement and reduce Work Related Road Risk within your business.

With the number of cyclists and pedestrians on our streets increasing it is more important than ever for drivers to be aware of vulnerable road users when behind the wheel.

The national standard for Work Related Road Risk has been designed to help reduce the risk of collisions between freight vehicles, cyclists and other vulnerable road users.

WRRR clauses are now included in many contracts for companies operating in and around London however the WRRR standard is also being applied across the UK.

Course Objectives

  • Understanding the legal responsibilities and obligations related to Work Related Road Risk
  • Understanding WRRR related initiatives such as CLOCS (Construction Logistics and Cyclist Safety)
  • Understand the benefits of managing Work Related Road Risk and the improvements related to attitudes, operating cultures and safety within your business
  • Understand how drivers and other road users are safeguarded and reducing the risks from work-related driving activities
  • Understand how managing WRRR can improve the public perception, brand image and reputation of your company as well as that of the transport and logistics industry as a whole
