Work & Study with Languages Fair

The Work & Study with Languages Fair will take place on Wednesday 15 February in Richmond Building. This event is relevant for students wishing to use existing language skills in their career, to develop new language skills, or simply considering gaining international work experience (including teaching English abroad). We have invited a range of employers, alumni and organisations to provide information about some of the options available for work and further study.
Information Fair, 13.00 – 15.00
Language skills are in demand in a wide range of sectors, particularly in business, teaching, diplomacy, charity, development work and media. You can also work self-employed as an interpreter, translator or tutor. Opportunities also exist to work internationally utilising your language skills or by teaching English abroad.Information stands will include Hutong School China, CII Teach Argentina, Institute of Translation & Interpreting, Translators without Borders, Intonation, British Army Intelligence Corps, Chartered Institute of Linguists, Institution-wide Language Programme (IWLP), MA Translation Studies, TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).....
There will also be the opportunity to attend presentations that will provide an insight into some of the options available to use your language skills within your career.
