Join us on 24 September at 3pm as we welcome Professor Maria Delgado, Vice Principal (Research and Knowledge Exchange) at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Maria grew up in the UK as the daughter of Spanish refugees She studied at the University of Wales, Leeds and Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Maria taught at Queen Mary University of London where she was a founding member of the Drama department. Maria also serves as Vice-President of the International Federation for Theatre Research.
As Professor and Vice Principal (Research and Knowledge Exchange) at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London, Maria Delgado oversees the institution’s research culture. She is a member of the School’s Executive Leadership Group and academic leadership team, and also contributes to graduate teaching.
In 2018 she was selected as one of the University of London’s 150 Leading Women as part of its celebration of the anniversary of the admission of women to the University.
