Inner Child work can be incredibly powerful and impactful in therapeutic work . Using the Inner Child concept can help clients to untangle their thoughts, feelings and behaviours and give them present and historical context. With an increased ability for self-compassion and inner child coaching comes an adult improvement in self-regulation and self-soothing.
This workshop aims to explore when and how we might work with our clients inner child, and offer creative, effective and powerful interventions and tools to use whilst at all times working to keep both client and therapist grounded and safe in the work.
Rima is a BACP registered Psychotherapist, DBT and EMDR Practitioner and Clinical Supervisor. She is Director of RHCP, and clinical lead of our specialist therapies services. Clinically, Rima specialises in working with clients with complex psychological trauma, including early life relational trauma.
This workshop will provide reflective space, practical guidance and tools for supporting healing endings in attachment based therapy.
