About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 30 minutes

This workshop, chaired by Dr Autumn Roesch-Marsh, will introduce participants to recent research with children and young people from minority ethnic backgrounds.

The workshop will explore what we have learned about how to work creatively and collaboratively with these children and young people. It will also allow time for participants to share their own knowledge and practice wisdom.

The workshop will begin with three short presentations relating to recent research from Robina Rubin, Dr Kristina Konstantoni and Dr. Kamal Dokurugu Ibrahim. Themes will include working with those who have an experience of forced migration and trauma, working with early years, and working with disability.

We will then share some resources we have developed and have time to discuss ideas and challenges.

This event will take place in room 1.21 in Paterson's Land, Holyrood Campus
