The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has launched a new national campaign, led by British business, aiming to make workplaces the best they can be for pregnant women and new mothers.
Working Forward was launched in response to the sharp contrast of 84% of British businesses who said they supported pregnant women and those on maternity leave, compared to the 77% of mothers who told the EHRC they had a negative or discriminatory experience at work.
This event will look at the support, facilities and options available to staff and managers and explore how we can make the University of Chester the best it can be for pregnant women and new mothers.
