Have you ever wondered what goes on in a publishing house? What’s it like working in their media team, working with editors, and having a wealth of content at your fingertips?
In this event, we’ve brought together a range of speakers from various UK and international scientific publishers to talk about their work. Ranging from how they select the best content to promote in the news, how they handle the more contentious papers, what it’s like to work with editors and authors, how they manage the reputational risks within publishing, and how they work with other press officers who promote content from their journals.
Join us and hear from…
Bex Walton - Head of Communications, Journals & Editorial, Springer Nature
Jodie Bell - Press & Media Relations Manager, Taylor & Francis Group
Emma Dickinson - Media Relations Manager, The BMJ
Bethany Baker - Senior Media Relations Manager, PLOS
