What is it like to work in different sectors? What skills do you require? What are the benefits and challenges of working in a specific sector? In this series of webinars individuals with a broad range of experience will share their career journeys with you and provide you insights into a range of different potential employment routes. Presenters will share their thoughts on how best to develop your career within these sectors and share their tips on how to develop your career. Within each workshop there will be plenty of time to ask questions – come prepared and ready to ask to find out more.

Working in: Private Sector with Luke Isbel

Luke’s career journey started with working in a large multinational engineering company in Australia before moving to the UK to join a small software SME. He then moved into the financial sector in change management roles with the Royal Bank of Scotland and TSB is now a senior consultant in a management consultancy specialising in financial services. Luke will provide insights into the reality of working for different styles of company, how to pivot your career and how to build credibility if you move between sectors.
