This is an interactive event designed to give help and support across a number of topics Barnsley businesses have told us they want to know more about. We've created conversation zones that will cover:

1. Bid Skills: Hosted by Mike Fairbotham of Perigean Ltd we will talk through the bid process in the public sector, look at selection questionnaires and the basic building blocks needed to take part.

2. Procurement Portals: Hosted by Lauren Siddons of Go4Growth we'll show you how to register for EU Supply (YOR Tender) and how to run searches or set up alerts on this portal as well as Contracts Finder, and the Find a Tender Service. We'll look at expressing interest, downloading documents and everything you need to get you started.

3. Upcoming Opportunities in the local area: Supported by Barnsley Council Procurement team, We'll look at opportunities over the next 6-12 months through Barnsley Council, South Yorkshire Police, Barnsley College and Barnsley NHS Trust and the wider Sheffield City Region

4. The Go4Growth programme: Hosted by Gillian Askew of Go4Growth we'll show you all the free resources you can access through the programme and how to get involved and take advantage of the support on offer
