This event is aimed at staff in NoWAL libraries who work on the front line, on the desk, roving, shelving etc.

About this Event

Following the NoWAL survey we ran in November for frontline staff asking for them to rank which topics they’d be most interested in, we have planned an event which will run twice, in February and May (repeated event to try and encourage as many people as possible to attend).

The events will be looking at:

  • What makes a positive or negative customer experience?
  • How to add value to the customer experience

We will be sharing initiatives that demonstrate ‘adding value’ or proactively seeking to improve the student experience.

One of the first activities we will be doing focuses on different learning styles. Please complete the online questionnaire and make a note of your learning style – we will be discussing it: https://www.mint-hr.com/mumford.html

Please note: This event runs over the lunch hour. Light refreshments (tea, coffee, fruit and biscuits) will be provided. There is a café in the Library or you are welcome to bring your own.
