The Wessex Museums Partnership invites you to a conference exploring the benefits and challenges to museums of working in partnership together and with a range of other organisations. Learn from museums and other organisations working with museums about their experiences of working in partnership. Learn how partnership working adds value to museums, other organisations and audiences by facilitating greater resilience and sustainability, innovative programming, social wellbeing and enhanced visitor experiences.
The conference is also an opportunity for the Wessex Museums Partnership, together with colleagues, to consult and generate ideas around partnership working across the region within the context of the new Arts Council funding arrangements.
Confirmed speakers include:
Tony Butler, Executive Director, Derby Museums
Georgia Malin, Head of National Programmes, British Museum
Gracie Divall, Project Manager, National Network of Constable Studies, Tate
Malcolm Burgin, Regional Manager, Alive Activities
Stephen Feeke, Director, New Art Centre, Roche Court
The conference is aimed at museums and other professionals working with or interested in museums, particularly those working in Dorset, Wiltshire and across the southwest.
